RE: New GFL discounts

A new contract has been negotiated for discounts for Ashley Park Residents granting the following discount prices from GFL:

1. Residential Curbside Waste Collection (weekly) - monthly charge:$17.50; extra pickup $15.00
2. Residential Curbside Recycle Collection (every other week) monthly charge: $4.38; extra pickup $15.00
3. Recycle Processing Fee - monthly charge $5.62
4. Residential Curbside Yard Waste Collection  (every other week)- monthly charge: $7.00; extra pickup $15.00

This price is good for 24 months.  Each resident will need to call GFL and request this Ashley Park discount. Thanks.

Please be aware of the alligators in our retention pond. There are signs posted and if there is an unauthorized person is in the restricted area fishing or feeding the alligators please call the New Hanover Sheriffs Department. Please, never approach the person, call the non-emergency number of the New Hanover Sheriffs Department. (910-798-4200)

Things to remember:

• Do NOT feed any alligators. 

• You are safe IF you stay OUT of the retention pond area. 

• This is a natural habitat for alligators.

• This is NOT a fishing pond or recreational area. If you enter the retention pond area, YOU ARE TRESPASSING.
