Monthly meetings will begin Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025, at 2:30 pm in the clubhouse. We’ll continue on the first Thursday of each month through May. All are welcome!

Books are available at the public library (some may have waitlists) and on Amazon. Life is Short, Pack Your Bags Now by neighbor Ann Ipock can be purchased directly from her for $10.

There are signs posted and if there is an unauthorized person is in the restricted area fishing or feeding the alligators please call the New Hanover Sheriffs Department. Please, never approach the person, call the non-emergency number of the New Hanover Sheriffs Department. (910-798-4200)

Things to remember:

• Do NOT feed any alligators. 

• You are safe IF you stay OUT of the retention pond area. 

• This is a natural habitat for alligators.

• This is NOT a fishing pond or recreational area. If you enter the retention pond area, YOU ARE TRESPASSING.
