Many of our Resident Groups here at The Bluffs use the TeamReach App to communicate about group meetings, events, information and more. In the Group info below, you will find the TeamReach Group Code that coordinates with each Group.

How to Use the TeamReach App:
This easy-to-use app lets you control which Groups you want to stay in touch with and facilitates communications of upcoming Group activities.
Step 1 - Install the TeamReach app. It is available for free on the Google Play Store or Apple apps store.
Step 2 – Open the app.
Step 3 - Join a Group by typing in the Group Code in the white box and clicking on the word “Join” in the dialog box that opens in the bottom right of your screen.
Step 4 – You will receive updates from the Groups that you have joined when the TeamReach app is open. You can also add comments.
Step 5 – You can remove your name from a Group by clicking on the Group, pressing the settings icon (the gear symbol in the upper right corner) and then clicking “Leave Group” at the bottom of the page.

Bluffs Euchre Club
Euchre is a fun, fast moving card game played in teams of 4 people that is challenging enough to not feel like it’s just luck, but easy enough to be able to chat while you play! No experience is necessary and it’s very easy to learn and play. Each month, we will select a date and time and communicate this in the TeamReach app for sign-up via the calendar option. Additionally, we will make it a little more social as a BYOB and bring an appetizer to share event. Should we max out players, we will create a substitution list.

Bunco
Bunco is a fun dice game played with up to 24 people. No experience is necessary and it’s very easy to play. Held on the 3rd Wednesday each month in the Bluffs Poolhouse.

Format:
4 couples in a group. A dinner will be planned by one of the couples in the group's home.
There is no limit to the number of 4 couple groups.
A couple can be 2 friends.
How It Works:
4 couples to a group will be chosen ahead of time. Each group will meet once a month for 4 months.
Each couple will have the opportunity to host a dinner at their home.
They will have an informal get together or a text group to decide who will be the first couple to host a dinner at their home.
One couple is the host couple, they will plan the main meal.
The other 3 couples bring either appetizers, salad or desert.
Each month a different couple will be the host.
At the 5th month, all the groups will have a big party.
And can re-up to be in a different 'Dinner for 8' group.

Golf Group
The Bluffs Golf Group is for anyone interested in getting out once or twice a week for a round of golf. We play at various courses throughout the area and always try to keep the 18-hole rate to less than $60. It’s easy to find “locals” rates in that range at some really good courses.
We also organize the annual Bluffs Cup golf outing which is a very well attended “Captain’s Choice” tournament with prizes. You don’t have to be a scratch golfer to play in any of these outings. All that’s required is a love for the game and enough time during the week to dedicate for a round of golf and some good times with friends.

International Dinner Night
Join your neighbors for International Dinner Night, a relaxed and flavorful way to explore cuisines from around the world while enjoying good company. This potluck-style gathering invites participants to bring an appetizer, side dish, entrée, or dessert—enough for 24–26 people to sample—centered around a shared theme such as Italian, German, Lebanese, and more. Please bring the beverage of your choice.
The event will be held at the Poolhouse on the first Saturday of each month, from 6:00–8:30 PM.
Space in the clubhouse is limited, so participation is first come, first served. Please note that International Dinner Night will be on pause from May through October, when the clubhouse is heavily used during pool season.

Kayaking
Provide information, beginner instructions, and coordinate group excursions for those interested in kayaking the beautiful waters available within our region.

A paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.

PORCH The Bluffs - Brunswick
PORCH is an all-volunteer, community-led hunger relief organization founded in 2010 in Chapel Hill, NC. The mission of our PORCH Chapter in The Bluffs is to collect food for hungry families through monthly neighborhood food drives that benefit our food pantry partner, Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard ,and the clients they serve.
We collect food on the third Tuesday of every month at two locations in The Bluffs: 3820 Silver Melon and 4055 Bay Colony. Neighbors who wish to participate are kindly asked to donate nonperishable food by leaving it on the front porch at either location on our collection days. We also accept cash, checks, and grocery gift cards.

Somatic Yoga
Somatic yoga is a unique approach that merges traditional yoga with a focus on the body's internal sensations.the participants will learn to use slow, gentler movements which allows them to explore and be curious of how their body moves and feels. . This practice is built upon the idea that our minds and bodies are interconnected. Therefore, recognizing our body's cues can lead us to emotional and physical healing. This class will be held on Wednesdays from 10:15-11:15 AM.
A 2nd class called Somatic Developmental Yoga offered Thursday nights from 5:30-6:30 pm. This class is based on infant developmental and somatic principles. It re-educates the neuromuscular system toward greater health and well being. It allows participants to learn through curiosity, to build skill with ease, and to utilize the self healing , integrative capacity of soma.

The Travel Adventures Group is for those who have a zest for traveling beyond the community, near and far. Yoga in The Bluffs
Practices are streamed on the TV from DoYogaWithMe.com
Beginner Practice - M, W, F at 8:30 am
Intermediate Practice - T & R at 8:00 am, S 7:30 am
You will need a mat, block(s), strap.
Beginner yoga follows practice with an arm workout. Light hand weights are needed.

Youth Group
The Bluffs Youth Group uses the TeamReach App (group code CG2020) and Facebook (Kids of the Bluffs) to communicate about group Youth Activities within the Bluffs community. Activities may be held at the Clubhouse, playscape, pool, beach house, fishing pier, kayaking, tennis court, and hopefully even more family friendly amenities! (As the youth population grows, additional specialized groups can be created for our youth.)
